I'm the most blessed person in the world. My wife and I own a small sustainable farm in eastern Colorado, where we live a truly amazing life.

Growing up, my dad built racecars and motorcycles, and I started "helping" when he bought me a small hammer as my first tool. I made a mess with that hammer, but he taught me a valuable lesson: you can always fix the dents, but you have to admit that you made them first. As I got older, he and I built a custom motorcycle together, rebuilt the family tractor, and fixed countless cars along the way. He didn't just show me how to build things (which he undoubtedly did), but he taught me how to teach.

I've taken this mindset into a very diverse career, and I have been able to work on some fascinating products over the years: air purification, American Ninja Warrior, equestrian equipment, Strongmen competitions, LEGO engineering... I couldn't have planned the path, but I'm thankful for every step along the way.
